All of the pics were really beautiful. Maybe the writer didn't know there is at least one Playa very near Wilcox, AZ. When we are having our monsoons, a lot of sandhill cranes stop there for water and to feed in the fields nearby, on their way south. It is a great place for birdwatchers. I was born near Fort Collis, CO, and lived for a while in Dallas. Later, after I remarried, we would drive from CO, then from Sierra Vista, AZ, to visit my husband's family in east TN. It always seemed to me it was hard to breathe until we were west of Dallas, when the country opened up and the sky was so beautiful! Two of my now grown grandchildren were born in Odessa, TX. For a number of years I rode behind my husband on a Honda Gold Wing touring bike. It was then I noticed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There has to be some clouds in the sky for either to be so beautiful. God IS good!
