Coming this January Jan. 28th-Jan 31…

Golden Light from a winter sunrise slices through the cold and stillness of a January morning caressing the distant hilltops with a warm and delicate hue. The chuckling and splashing of ducks can be heard in the distance, while a formation of teal whistle overhead in the early morning sky. You make a quick equipment check and then sit back to await the sun; and a level of light suitable for effective work. A gaggle of ducks p…asses and presents themselves as silhouettes to the rising sun and you realize its time for action. You rise to fire but instead of the recoil from a #4 shot in a Remington 12 gauge, your weapon of choice churns quietly, capturing the feathered targets unscathed, allowing the ducks to veer away, caught forever as digital memories.

CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS:

Come join us on the first of our Waterfowl Photo Expeditions here in Knox county, Texas. Bring your camera of choice, preferably a SLR with a 300 or 400mm lens; and let’s experience the seemingly choreographed airial display of waterflow-in-motion.

This type of photography dictates that your choice of cloting be warm and and of the camo variety. A head net and camo gloves will be helpful as well. You may also wish to bring a waterproof poncho.

We will be focusing on waterfowl, but we’ll take any opportunity to photograph our other natural wildlife fauna, such as the coyote and bobcat. Whitetail buck, wild hogs, and turkey are also likely subjects for the crew.

We will only be taking 4 participants so hurry and get your reservation.

Fee: $1995.00 includes the workshop fee, lodging at the Old Knox County Jail for 3 nights, all food and transportation after you arrive.

Please contact Sylinda for reservations at 940-454-3311
NOTE: Please bring the adult beverage of choice.
