During one particular winter we had over 90,000 geese that roosted in a lake only a few miles from our home. Each morning I was able to drive near and take advantage of weather conditions conducive to good photography. On this morning a beautiful winter fog was over the water and as the sun shown through it these greater canadians rose for their morning feed. I was there for the event. Canon F1N, AE motordrive and Canon 500mm F4.5L lens. Velvia 50 ISO film.
