On the high southern slopes of the Chinati mountains two cholla cactus stand as lone sentinels over the vast Chihuahaun landscape below. With Mexico on the horizon, I set up my camera and awaited the early morning sun and its magic as it spilled over the ragged landscape of West Texas.
