Song at Sunrise

On this bitter cold morning I was on a huge ranch in the rolling plains when this coyote walked upon a snowy hillside and began to howl just as the sun rose in the east. I could not believe the luck in being at this location at such a magic moment! It was an iffy shot by handholding a 500mm lens at 125th of a second but the gamble paid off. Canon F1N, AE motordrive, Canon 500mm F4.5L lens. Kodachrome 64 film
